Uploading a document is how a worker’s qualification is proven: the required file is attached against the skill and becomes a submission for an approver to review. In practice the worker’s employer admin does this on their behalf, since they hold the paperwork.
This guide covers:
- Selecting the skill the document is evidence for
- Uploading the file against that skill to create a submission
- Adding a verification-of-competency file alongside the certificate where the skill requires one
- Resubmitting with a fix when a document comes back rejected with a reason
Upload the right evidence and the worker moves cleanly into review, with the file held against their record for every later check.
💡 Power User Insight: At renewal, where the certificate file hasn’t changed and only the dates need refreshing, the existing evidence can be copied forward instead of re-uploading the same file.
