An access event is any swipe that fails — an unrecognised card, a denied entry or a fatigue block — raised into an operator queue. It turns gate problems into tracked items your site team works to resolution rather than silent denials.
This guide covers:
- Recording every swipe, successful or not, at the gate
- Raising failed swipes as access events in an operator queue
- Tracking each event through to resolution
- Assigning the queue to Site Dispatch and Site Leader roles
Work the queue and no blocked worker is left stranded at the gate without someone seeing it.
💡 Power User Insight: Rules sit at the location level, not the individual door, so one location can cover several readers. Configure which swipe outcomes raise an event when you set up each location. This queue needs a WinDsx integration.
