Configuring a workflow

A workflow is the configured path a worker follows at your site — the steps they complete and the sign-offs that follow. Build it once and every worker on it follows the same route, with a dated record behind each one.

This guide covers:

  • Choosing which wizard steps apply — personal details, job detail, contacts, health, declarations and document uploads
  • Ordering those steps and wording the declarations to suit your site
  • Setting required documents and online courses for the roles you run
  • Hanging a role-specific induction off a parent workflow so personal details carry across
  • Pausing a workflow with a note when you need to, leaving workers already on it unaffected

Get this right and one platform serves sites with very different entry rules, each evolving on its own.

💡 Power User Insight: The number and order of approval steps sit at platform level with a System Administrator. You shape the worker’s path; coordinate with them on who signs off.
